Pool Liability Insurance
The Pool Liability Insurance endorsement is available at the price of €62.50 and can only be activated at the same time as the property’s Liability Insurance policy. In the Liability Insurance request form, both options must therefore be selected.
€62.50What it covers
The Pool Liability Insurance endorsement covers accidental damage to third parties or third-party property arising from the management and ownership of the swimming pool, as well as liability towards workers where provided by the policy. The pool must be used exclusively in connection with the insured accommodation business. The cover applies to the accommodation categories already referred to in the ordinary Liability Insurance policy, including B&B, Affittacamere, Country Houses and furnished apartments rented to third parties.
Please remember that the swimming pool is covered for the risk of “Public Liability” as operator of the accommodation business.
Required conditions
The swimming pool must meet all of the following conditions:
- Be located within the cadastral boundaries of the property covered by the licence or legal title authorising the accommodation business.
- Be for the EXCLUSIVE use of the accommodation facility in the property already insured under the Liability Insurance policy number referred to in the annex/certificate of insurance.
- Be owned or managed by the operator — under ownership, usufruct, lease or gratuitous loan agreement — whose accommodation business is already insured under the Liability Insurance policy number shown in the annex/certificate of insurance.
How to obtain the Pool endorsement
This policy can only be activated at the same time as the Liability Insurance policy for the accommodation facility, so go to the request form and select both options. If you have already done so, simply pay the amount shown in the button below.

Amount: transfer exactly the amount shown for the selected option or the amount agreed with AIBBA.
