Terms and information for AIBBA & AgICAV Liability Insurance
To take out AIBBA Public Liability Insurance, you must activate at least a BASE membership, which already includes the cover.
Note: Insurance for damage that GUESTS cause to your property is not normally taken out (“Kasko”) and is not included in our Liability Insurance policy, because it is very expensive and not customary: the GUEST should have their own personal liability insurance (“family liability” insurance), and you can also protect yourself through correct use of credit cards to recover any damage. More information on correct booking and credit-card procedures is provided with the BASE membership included with the Liability Insurance policy. 😊
Important: for policy limits, deductibles, exclusions, definitions, effective date and operation of coverage, the current terms, endorsements and insurance documents always prevail.
Essential information
It is not “Kasko” property insurance
It should not be confused with a general guarantee for damage caused by guests to the property. Specific coverage is required for those risks, where available.
One policy = one unit/property
Each individual policy covers a maximum of one housing unit/property. Separate coverage is required for multiple independent units.

Does the property have a swimming pool?
The €62.50 pool endorsement must be requested at the same time as the ordinary Liability Insurance policy of the property: both options must be selected in the request form. If the request has already been submitted, payment can be made from the Pool Liability Insurance page.

Payment
The payment required for the selected category is completed.
Data request
AIBBA sends an email with the information required for activation.
Property
Operator/owner, tax code/VAT number, address and cadastral details: sheet, parcel/map reference, sub-unit.
Activation
Once payment and complete information have been received: normally 2–4 working days.
BANK TRANSFER
Pay by bank transfer
You can use a bank transfer for memberships, renewals, Liability Insurance additions, plan upgrades and other AIBBA services when the amount is already defined or agreed.

Amount: transfer exactly the amount shown for the selected option or the amount agreed with AIBBA.
After the transfer: email info@aibba.it with first and last name, service/product paid for, amount and transfer date. This allows AIBBA to match the payment quickly.
Bank transfers are not recurring payments and do not activate automatic renewals.
